Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
We collect the minimum data needed to answer your inquiry. We don't sell it, share it with ad networks, or use it to retarget you. If you want it deleted, email us and we delete it within 7 days.
What we collect
When you fill out the contact form on this site, we receive:
- The email address you typed in the form
- The service you indicated interest in (from the dropdown)
- The IP address from which you submitted the form (collected by our form processor for spam prevention)
When you email us at support@shipatelier.com directly, we receive whatever you put in the email, plus standard email metadata (sender, timestamp).
We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, ad cookies, or third-party retargeting. We don't share your data with advertising networks.
What we will never do with your data
We take a hard line on this because it matters. ShipAtelier will never:
- Sell your data. No mailing list broker gets your email address from us. Ever. Not in bulk, not individually, not as part of an acquisition.
- Rent or share your data with third-party marketers. Not for revenue sharing, not for cross-promotion, not for any reason.
- Use your data to train external AI models. Your inquiries, engagement details, and any operational data you share stay between us and are not used to train external systems.
- Monetize your data indirectly. No "insights" packages sold to industry researchers. No trend data licensing. Nothing that turns your information into someone else's product.
The only ways we ever use what you share with us are the three listed under "How we use it" below. If we ever want to add a fourth use, we will ask you first, in writing, and default to no.
How we use it
We use your information for exactly three things:
- Replying to your inquiry
- Following up if we're discussing a potential engagement
- If you become a client, communicating about your build
That's it. We don't add you to newsletters, marketing sequences, or external lists without explicit permission. Our newsletter is a separate opt-in with its own one-click unsubscribe (see the newsletter page for details on how it's operated).
Where it lives
Your contact form submissions are processed by Formspree and stored in our Gmail inbox. Both are governed by their respective privacy policies. Formspree retains form submissions according to its own retention policy. Gmail retains email according to Google's policies.
If you become a client, we may receive additional data from you that's necessary to build your tool (sample orders, shipping configurations, vendor account details). That data is handled under the NDA in your engagement contract, stays on your systems wherever possible, and never routes through systems we use to communicate with other clients.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no first-party cookies. We don't run analytics like Google Analytics, Plausible, or Fathom. We don't have ad pixels from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or anyone else.
Two third-party services that this site loads may set their own cookies for their own functionality: Google Fonts (used to render the typography on this site) and Formspree (only loads when you actually submit the form). Their cookies are governed by their privacy policies.
Your rights
You can:
- Ask what we have on you. Email support@shipatelier.com with subject "Data request" and we'll reply within 7 days.
- Ask us to delete what we have. Same email, subject "Delete my data". We delete within 7 days, except where retention is required for active client engagements or legal reasons.
- Withdraw consent any time. If you've been corresponding with us and want us to stop, reply "please stop contacting me" and we stop.
Data of EU and California residents
If you're in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have specific rights under those regulations including access, deletion, and portability. The "Your rights" section above covers the practical mechanism for exercising them. We aren't a large data processor and you should hear back quickly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed at the bottom. If you've ever submitted the contact form, we'll email you about significant changes.
