Short version

We collect the minimum data needed to answer your inquiry. We don't sell it, share it with ad networks, or use it to retarget you. If you want it deleted, email us and we delete it within 7 days.

What we collect

When you fill out the contact form on this site, we receive:

When you email us at support@shipatelier.com directly, we receive whatever you put in the email, plus standard email metadata (sender, timestamp).

We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, ad cookies, or third-party retargeting. We don't share your data with advertising networks.

What we will never do with your data

We take a hard line on this because it matters. ShipAtelier will never:

The only ways we ever use what you share with us are the three listed under "How we use it" below. If we ever want to add a fourth use, we will ask you first, in writing, and default to no.

How we use it

We use your information for exactly three things:

That's it. We don't add you to newsletters, marketing sequences, or external lists without explicit permission. Our newsletter is a separate opt-in with its own one-click unsubscribe (see the newsletter page for details on how it's operated).

Where it lives

Your contact form submissions are processed by Formspree and stored in our Gmail inbox. Both are governed by their respective privacy policies. Formspree retains form submissions according to its own retention policy. Gmail retains email according to Google's policies.

If you become a client, we may receive additional data from you that's necessary to build your tool (sample orders, shipping configurations, vendor account details). That data is handled under the NDA in your engagement contract, stays on your systems wherever possible, and never routes through systems we use to communicate with other clients.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no first-party cookies. We don't run analytics like Google Analytics, Plausible, or Fathom. We don't have ad pixels from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or anyone else.

Two third-party services that this site loads may set their own cookies for their own functionality: Google Fonts (used to render the typography on this site) and Formspree (only loads when you actually submit the form). Their cookies are governed by their privacy policies.

Your rights

You can:

Data of EU and California residents

If you're in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have specific rights under those regulations including access, deletion, and portability. The "Your rights" section above covers the practical mechanism for exercising them. We aren't a large data processor and you should hear back quickly.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed at the bottom. If you've ever submitted the contact form, we'll email you about significant changes.
